Oops! The date for the Christmas Rally and Lunch is back to the original - 14th December!
That makes two social functions very close to each other.
1 Swap planning meeting
Monday 3rd November 7:00 pm
President Trevor invites all area supervisors to attend this meeting, as well as anyone else able to help in some way.
Trevor Hoffmann has volunteered to step into the Swap Manager role, as well as President.
He will need to rely on lots of members doing their bit to assist.
2 Christmas Rally and Lunch
Sunday 14th December
Rally - meet at Club at 8.30 am for 9.00 am start.
Destination - Acland Park, about 50 km, for BYO morning tea. Leave Acland at 10.00 ish, making our way to Oakey RSL for lunch.
It was decided by the Management Committee to select the Christmas Combo and 2 Desserts Menu offered by the RSL. This comprises the main, Roast Chicken and Baked Ham served with roast potatoes, pumpkin, steamed seasonal vegetables, coleslaw and gravy.
Dessert options are alternate drop of pavlova or plum pudding and custard.
It was also decided to show the club’s appreciation to those members who have volunteered their time and expertise, which created another successful swap. All club members will be provided with a choice of 2 of beer, wine or soft drinks. The management is also subsidising the Lunch.
For Club members wishing to join in the Christmas party, the total cost is $15.00 per person, payable directly into the club account, using your name as a reference, or paying to our treasurer by November 24th.

Friday 12th December 6:00 pm (day after the December meeting)
Gather at the DDVVMC clubrooms for some Christmas drinks followed by a BBQ tea.
This is a great chance to catch up with club members who can't get out as often as they would like.
Costs are still to be confirmed. Harry Brazier is getting prices for the BBQ, and drinks will be at the Workshop & Clubhouse prices,
