Sorry to trouble you with another email, but some of these events will occur outside of the normal monthly newsletter.
1 Harvest Rally
Due to the weather forecast for this Sunday, it has been decided to postpone the Harvest Rally until Saturday, November 29th.
On this day we shall be visiting RDO (John Deere dealership) in O'Mara's Road, Charlton. There we are invited to join in a sausage sizzle, which will be provided for morning tea. Two salesmen, who will inform us of the latest machinery technology will be allotted to us. RDO will be assigning us an area in which our cars can be parked.
Following this event, we shall proceed to the Wheat Sheaf hotel at East Greenmount for lunch.
Meeting time at the club rooms is 8.30 am, for a 9.00 am departure.
2 Mid-week CWA coffee & scones
On Wednesday, November 19th, there is to be an impromptu run to Goombungee, where the local CWA will be hosting a tea/coffee and scones morning tea. Cost for this is $6.00 per head. For those interested, we shall meet at the club rooms at 8.30 am, for a 9.00 am departure. CWA requires an RSVP for catering purposes. Please contact Jim Robinson on 0458134376 by Midday on the Tuesday if you are attending.
3 Swap planning meeting
Thursday 4th December 7:00 pm
All area supervisors are requested to attend this meeting, as well as anyone else able to help in some way.
4 Christmas Tree social evening
Friday 12th December 5:30 pm (day after the December meeting)
Gather at the DDVVMC clubrooms for some Christmas drinks followed by a BBQ tea.
This is a great chance to catch up with club members who can't get out as often as they would like.
5 Christmas Rally and Lunch
Sunday 14th December
We will make our way to Oakey via Acland township.
Don't forget that if you are coming to the lunch at Oakey RSL, the total cost is $15.00 per person, payable directly into the club account, using your name as a reference, or paying to our treasurer by November 24th.
