An URGENT matter has come to hand at the last QHMC meeting.
The Qld government are asking for submissions on a revised vehicle write-off scheme.

The bit that worries us is 3.1.3, "Removal of age restriction for notifiable vehicles."
The way It reads is that any damaged vehicle can be declared a write off, under their formula. While we hobbyists would repair our damaged vehicle, their formula would not take that into account. Who makes the assessment?
Please read the proposal document which explains what the Government would like to do if we say nothing.

The cut-off for the survey is the 20th June 2024.
