President Trevor wanted all members to know what the current situation is for the Toowoomba Swap after this year.
This is the email which was recently sent out to all 2026 siteholders.
Now you know as much as the rest of the siteholders.
Please read carefully, so you know how to answer if asked by anyone else.

Toowoomba Swap Meet beyond 2026
Hi Swap siteholder
We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Toowoomba Swap.
There always seem to be rumours around the Swap. Just letting you know the current state of planning for future Toowoomba Swaps.
It is highly likely that the 2027 Toowoomba Swap will occur.
However there are a number of options to explore, and these are taking longer than anticipated.
This means that at the 2026 Swap the Bookings Office wil not be open, as rebookings for the 2027 Swap will not yet be possible.
Existing siteholders will get their reservations for the 2027 Swap around mid 2026.
The options for continuing are:
- Utilising a professional event management team.
- Staying at the Toowoomba Showgrounds for one or two more years, knowing that Olympics infrastructure development will limit the options beyond that.
- Moving to another location such as the Farmfest site, which has a simpler layout, but not as many covered sites.
