Event 1
DDVVMC Fuel Economy rally.
Starting at 9am Sunday 23rd August from DDVVMC clubrooms.
The distance of the rally is 65km.
Morning tea stop is 36km from the start, in Federation Park at Vale View.
The rally finishes at the clubrooms with a BBQ lunch.
The run has a mix of country roads and residential streets so different speeds are part of the drive.
You will go up and down, left and right, as well as straight ahead. Apart from the morning tea stop, all other directions will only be revealed on Sunday.
We need numbers for catering purposes. It would also be great to get your name and vehicle make & capacity, so this can be pre-entered into the spreadsheet.
Contact Ben Tanner on 0427 379 253 or rally.ddvvmc.1@gmail.com with the details, please.
Event 2
DDVVMC & HMCCQ joint event.
On Father's Day, Sunday 6th September from 9am - 12noon there will be a Car, Motorcycle & Caravan display at Cobb & Co Museum.
Make your own way to the museum, enter via the Campbell Street entrance to the markets area, and park around the perimeter of the markets.
Entry to the Museum is free, just wear your DDVVMC name tag.
There will be plenty of Fathers Day things to do for your family, including grandkids. Most will be free, with plenty to browse, plus the markets, Cobb's cafe, the carriage collection as well as the rest of the museum. The kids can opt to make their (grand)father a key ring for a small fee.
Cobb & Co have arranged voting for best motorcycle & best car.
David Grant will be talking about his Rudge motorcycle, celebrating its 100th birthday.
Pat Murphy will be talking about car restoration afterwards.
Once again it would be great to be able to give numbers to Cobb & Co, so please text your name & number attending to David Grant on 0448 345 644
