Toowoomba Swap

Postponement of Toowoomba Swap until 3 & 4 September 2022

Due to the widespread Covid transmission currently occurring throughout Queensland, the Toowoomba Swap that was to be held on 5 & 6 February 2022 has been postponed. The swap will now be held on 3 & 4 September 2022.

While this decision is disappointing for the Darling Downs Veteran Vintage & Motor Club Inc. as organisers of the event, it is necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of our valued site holders, swap patrons, club members and volunteers involved in running the event.

Those who have already purchased swap sites, camping sites or admission tickets will be offered a full refund if they are unable to attend. Everyone should have been contacted by now, either by phone or email.

3rd & 4th September 2022 will see the postponed Toowoomba Swap Meet; we very much look forward to your attendance.

About us

The main objectives of the organisation are: to encourage the restoration of older vehicles and to organise events for their use.

Our club has an air-conditioned spacious meeting hall and well-equipped workshops at 2 Rocla Court (off McDougall Street).

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month beginning at 7:30 pm. Visitors with an interest in all types of older collectable vehicles, are very welcome to attend. The club has an event for vehicles each month which normally takes the form of a rally or tour that can be a competitive event such as an observation run or, a relaxed drive in the country.

Other events take the form of restoration runs, static displays and gymkhanas. Social events are also held.

Please note that because of the restrictions on concessional registration of older vehicles, they are not available for hire for weddings and formals etc.
