Home of the Toowoomba Swap Meet
The next Toowoomba Swap will be on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd February, 2025.
The 2024 Swap is all wrapped up now, while not every site was sold, it was still a very successful Swap. The weather was very kind to us. Hot, but no rain.
Reservations for the 2025 Swap have been sent out. They need to be processed by the end of February, otherwise they then become free for anyone else to purchase. The link to 2025 Swap tickets will be made live as from 1st March 2024.
The Swap Bookings phone & email will be monitored until the end of the first week in March 2024, then will be closed until November 2024. Contact details are under the Contact Us menu.
We use the vehicle categories as defined by the Australian Historic Motoring Federation:
|Up to end of 1918
|From 1919 up to end of 1930
|From 1931 up to end of 1949
|50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's
(In Qld, vehicles must be 30 years old to be eligible for concessional registration)
The main objectives of the organisation are: to encourage the restoration of older vehicles and to organise events for their use.
Please note that because of the restrictions on concessional registration of older vehicles, they are not available for hire for weddings and formals etc.
Our club has an air-conditioned spacious meeting hall and well-equipped workshops at 2 Rocla Court (off McDougall Street).
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month beginning at 7:30 pm. Visitors with an interest in all types of older collectable vehicles, are very welcome to attend. The club has an event for vehicles each month which normally takes the form of a rally or tour that can be a competitive event such as an observation run or, a relaxed drive in the country.
Other events take the form of restoration runs, static displays and gymkhanas. Social events are also held.
