Setting up details

Setting up day, for site holders only, will be on the Friday before the weekend of the Toowoomba Swap. The first gate into the Showgrounds will open at 1:00pm.

Early arrivals will be directed to the southern carpark (Gate 7).

Sites are only large enough to cater for one registered vehicle as well as swap material. Extra vehicles will not be admitted. We have had to implement this rule as some siteholders park extra vehicles on roadways. This practice is unsafe for the general public and unfair to the vast majority of site holders who do the right thing.

Site fees cover entry for two people per site. The second person must enter the grounds with the siteholder otherwise full admission fee will be charged. All extra people will be charged entry for two days ($20). This entry fee is payable at the gate on Friday.

After entering GATE 7, site holders will be directed to a parking area. Please follow all directions from swap personnel.

Those in the Founders and Berghofer pavilions as well as Sideshow Alley, Machinery Hill and the Village Green will be directed to park in orderly rows on the western side of the carpark. They will be admitted to the Swap at 1:00pm through Gate 8 and enter the grounds via the roadway around the lake.

All other site holders will be directed to the eastern side of the carpark and enter through the gate next to the southern turnstiles at 1:00pm.

Wristbands will be available on exiting the Showgrounds and must be worn to be readmitted to the grounds during the course of the Swap meet. Please ensure that they are worn always. They are waterproof and will last the weekend.

The main gate will open at 1:00pm and remain open for the duration of the swap. The Founders and Berghofer Pavilions will be locked at 6:00pm.
